What these results tell you

  • Why grease matters

A clogged baffle filter forces the blower to work against resistance. That overheats the motor winding, which is the single most common cause of a chimney dying outright.

  • How often to clean

For Indian cooking with daily tempering and frying, a deep clean every four to six months keeps suction at close to factory levels. Filterless units need it more often, not less.

  • What we do not do

We do not just wipe the outer shell and call it a service. If the blower wheel and oil collector have not been opened, the unit has not been cleaned.
